The only difference is that you do have the option to download and remove specific episodes of a podcast. Once you’ve finished listening to them, you can delete downloaded podcasts in the exact same manner. In case you didn’t know, you can also download entire podcasts or specific episodes you are interested in. You can only download an entire album or a playlist, and vice versa. Just tap the button and it will turn gray, which will automatically delete all the downloaded songs that you had previously liked.Īnother thing to keep in mind is that the newest mobile app version doesn’t allow you to delete a specific downloaded song, just like you can’t download a single song. I should have realised this was what they were doing when I read that any username you used for a ‘deleted’ account wouldn’t be made available again….reason being it’s still kept as an active user account.When it comes to the songs in your Liked folder, the download button looks different.
I’ve simply given up waiting for it to happen now and bringing up the subject with them doesn’t get any closer to resolving it, because they don’t want to delete the account. So the most anyone would get is having their playlists deleted and a banner saying ‘no recent activity’.
Having looked over the whole situation, I’ve now come to the conclusion they won’t ever completely delete my account because it would diminish their user statistics. By all means give it a go with yours and let me know what you find …. I’ve also tried it with other browsers which I rarely use and still have the same data account coming up. To fob me off I’m told it’s just my browser cache, but the settings I have would not have this happen. As helpful as the staff were in replying to my request, I find that three weeks on my old account is still there. Three weeks ago I asked for my old account to be deleted as I had started a new one.
